静态动词没有完成使用方法的疑问

And the Good Morning Britain （这是电视节目的名字 ）presenter says shes been able to put a lot of what shes learnt into practice in her own home, preparing meals for sons, Sam, 14, Finn, 13, and Jack, 11.

上文讲到这个电视节目教观众做饭，这句话说这个主持人，也可以学以致用。请问，has been able to 在这里并没加for时间状语，那样这个词组是理解为瞬间动词，还是延续性动词（理解为，不加for的延续性动词，没有完成使用方法的特例）？

was/wereable to do sth可以表示succeeded in doing sth或者managed to do sth的意义，即表示动态意义。此时was/were提示有一个确切的过去语境。比如：He fell into thelake but was able to swim to the bank.

当没确切的过去语境，表示不确切的过去成功的作了某事，则可以用目前完成时have/has been able to do sth. = have/has managed to do sth 即所谓目前完成时的完成使用方法。
